早上收到 iLike 的 email，称他们提供 R.E.M. 新专辑 Accelerate 的整张试听，而该专辑的发售还要等到4月1号。刚刚粗略听了一遍，让我想起 Monster 那张，很噪。而 Monster 几乎是我最不喜欢的 R.E.M. 专辑，虽然它在乐评人那里评价很高。R.E.M. 的专辑里我最喜欢的还是 New Adventures in Hi-Fi 那张，原来有盘磁带不知道听了多少遍。新专辑也许多听几遍感觉会不同，现在听第二遍时就觉得标题曲 Accelerate 挺好听。

知道布衣乐队也许是因为他们给《疯狂的石头》的配乐，也许是因为收录在纪念张炬专辑里的《为你唱》，感觉这个乐队中规中矩，但是也没有太多的特点，所以一直也没有在意。直到最近听到了这首《秋天》：

我相信国内绝大部分Flickr的用户都是只谈风月的，不谈政治的，只不过这次Flickr被封也使他们很无奈。你要是抱怨，那就是政治问题了，于是就象左小祖咒在《冤枉》里唱的那样，“糊里糊涂的走上了政治的舞台”。

一直很喜欢 Patti Smith，所以一知道她在上个月刚刚发行了一张纯翻唱专辑 Twelve，就立即到 iTunes Music Store 去下来听。当听到第三首 Helpless 时有种似曾相识的感觉，很象 Bob Dylan 的 Knocking on Heaven’s Door（可能有人更熟悉 Guns N’ Roses 的版本），查了一下知道这是 Neil Young 很有名的一首歌。但是这两首歌又是什么关系呢？Google 到这样一个页面，看上去挺乱的，总结一下就是，有人说 Dylan 抄袭可是名声在外了：
It seems Dylan is fairly well known for stealing music now that I look at
the web. Several smaller song writers have accused him of similar acts. And
at least two major artists have also noted remarkable similarities to their
music in Dylan’s. “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” is almost an exact clone of

然后就有人出来为 Dylan 辩解，说民歌只要没写下来，大家都抄来抄去的，Dylan 只是“不太礼貌”而已：

不过资料显示 Knocking on Heaven’s Door 发表于1973年，而 Helpless 发表于1977年，这又是怎么回事呢？
回到 Patti Smith 这张专辑，感觉还是不错的，特别是因为有些歌曲是大家都很熟悉的，对那些不喜欢她音乐风格的人也有一定的可听性。

Virginia Tech 的悲剧已经过去一个多星期了。有一个遇难的叫 Henry Lee 学生看上去很象华裔，仔细看新闻才知道是越南人。觉得这个名字很熟，但是直到看到未名空间上这个帖子才想起这是 Nick Cave 一首歌的名字。在帖子里 Ripple 说道：
（这首歌）讲的也是关于死亡的悲惨故事。一个叫henry Lee的少年被妓女杀，抛尸荒野。一阵阵凄风中，一只小鸟停落在他的尸体上。。。creepy! 不过也只有nick cave能把这么creepy的故事写的这么凄美。

在北京的时候，听的最多电台节目就是张有待的 New Music Express 和 Midnight Blues，甚至还加入了一个他组织的俱乐部。第一次看鲍家街43号的演出就是通过这个俱乐部的活动，那个时候的鲍家街的风格还十分根源，让人惊叹中国人也能做出这么地道的布鲁斯音乐，以至于他们专辑出来是我是那个失望啊。
扯远了，自从离开北京就一直没再关注过有待和他的节目，最近偶然发现一个北京音乐台主持人论坛，有待的论坛也在其中。好像他现在只主持一个节目了，名字叫“我的音乐生活（Song Tracks of My Life）”。有热心的朋友制作了节目录音 ，下来听了听，他的声音和风格都没有变，还是那样将一些有联系没联系的歌曲一首首播出来，配上非常简单的介绍。现在听过的歌也多了，听他介绍的歌已经不像当年听到的时候那么惊艳了，但是这种感觉还是很让人怀念。
附上有待在 Love Parade 2006 上的照片一张。

周末的时候路过书店，发现里面有一些旧唱片卖，就是那种很大的（12吋？）黑色唱片，DJ打碟用的估计也是这种。我觉得特别酷，价钱又出奇的便宜，于是就买了一张。只是不知道现在一台唱片机要多少钱。
我们听音乐都是直接从磁带过渡到CD，然后就是mp3了，很少有机会听到这种唱片。说实在的，我连它具体叫什么都不太清楚，是密纹唱片，还是胶木唱片？英文是vinyl吗？ 唱片上写有 331/2 rpm 的字样，这应该是唱片的转速吧。没有唱片机，也不知道音质怎么样，但是大唱片至少有一个好处，就是其封套比CD和磁带都大多了。
最后说两句Dire Straits，这是我很喜欢的一只蓝调摇滚乐队，而这张我认为是他们最好的专辑，没人的时候我喜欢哼两句 “Ride cross the river, deep and wide, ride cross the river to the other side”。姜育恒当年曾经翻唱了里面一首“Why Worry”，这就是《有空来坐坐》，不过也有人说是剽窃。
